does that stat stack up? if so... its a stat based on evidence. whether anybody really wants to infer anything fropm it other than home teams tend to win... overall...

    shrug. pre-game bullshit.

In the RWC he only scored 25% (1 of 4, having refereed Japan v Russia in the opening game).

In statistics it is vital to understand your data, so in this case, what was the pre-match expectation that the home teams would win on each occasion?

A good point, spend your life refereeing the All Blacks at home and that stat would look biased against the All Blacks!

He has referred a large number of games .. a 91%home win over a career would be astonishing. That can't be true

However if eddie is talking about 6N games then it is plausible .. esp as NO doesn't tend to get Italy at home .. (away win) that goes to junior refs, he gets the big games , whixh are close and home advantage matters

    Just like this weekend coming

Yes obviously need to compare what was expected pre-match to what actually happened.

In any case have the stats been verified? Who came up with this figure and is it correct? What games does it apply to - is the methodology for including and excluding games logical.

Yes but WR don't. RWC are counted as neutral venues
