    I wear turf shoes, the ones rubber nubs on the sole. I believe they are Diadora Capitanos. I where then on grass and turf, for FH and Rugby, except in the muddiest conditions.

    Starting with swimming/lifesaving growing up in a coastal town. Judo from a young age, until Green belt lost as i moved up an age category (from U15s I think) thought this entirely unfair and so switched to Rugby for five years. Which even more unfairly saw me barred from Gaelibc Sports facilities in my village. Orienteering/ cross country running at secondary school. Sea fishing since childhood with a little sailing at Cowes, while in Hampshire. Cycling since for ever, but more so since coming to France.
