Dickei - wrtfootball and 7s in the USA etc...

yess... but did it kickstart a US expansion of involvement in football (outside of school kids and. it seems. sexually promisuous females) and rugby 7s?

As of May 2015, over 24.4 million people play soccer in the United States.[9] In 2017, Gallup reported that soccer was the third-most watched team sport in the U.S., behind only basketball and American football.[10] The popularity of the sport in the U.S. has been growing since the 1960s and 1970s and received a significant boost when the United States hosted the 1994 FIFA World Cup and 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup. It is the fourth most popular sport in the United States behind American football, baseball, and basketball, and is the second fastest growing sport in America, surpassed only by lacrosse.

My post was a cold remark for Simon's possible disdain for our President's and DT usage of shithole. Simon used it in a similar context to describe a city.

But according at least several in American press it is sensitive. from posted article, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper said the president’s remark was, “not racial. Not racially charged” but “racist”.

I do not find it insensitive, but our SJWs do. I find it humorous

and 7s rugby too seems to have been well accepted:

The 7s WC event ran USAR to a substantial loss. So, not so much.
