Older members might remember Jacko, who used to post here a long while ago.

Unless I have my Andrew Jacksons wrong, he's just been appointed to TMO/FPRO the two Australia/NZ matches in TRC,

He was involved in SA v Ita too.

Jacko is a member of South Yorkshire Referees (of which I am Chair).

Like most of our PGMOT members (there are a few referees/ARs/TMOs) he is not seen as much at meetings month to month although that is understandable given his enhanced globe trotting role.

That said he is a superb role model (as are the others) for our newer recruits and we are all immensely proud of the progress he's made as referee and now TMO/FPRO.

We all helped ourselves to some of his surplus stash when we went to his house when Dickie E was over in 2015. I still wear my Gilbert Aviva branded shorts round the house.

Yep, I've still got a pair of his hand-me-down shorts. Albeit they are now part of my gardening attire.
I seem to remember his missus being quite keen for as much of his stash as possible to leave the house 😀
