It seems to be permissible for props to bind onto their opponents shirt by grabbing the bottom of the arm-hole with the elbow pointing at the floor.
Which in my mind is only very loosely in the definition of the back or side
So to my mind, that is the first offence, not the other prop folding.
All sides were doing it.

Frankly if I were a prop, I would demand a long sleeved shirt.

On the flip side David Sole removed all his sleeve to counter the effect that was being claimed, whereas it was just the physical differences.

Tom Smith another small prop who could do phenomenal things to larger opponents.

well what camquin describes has vbeen going on for years and years and while Id agree is a very loose interpretation of side or back, its clear that at these levels somebody somewhere has agreed that its OK
