Ben O'Keefe awarded a try to the Blues player Vaa'i on Saturday.

Around 3mins on these highlights

Super rugby management have issued the following statement

Super Rugby Pacific management has reviewed the decision to award a try to Chiefs player Tupou Vaa'i in the 32nd minute of Saturday’s Round 1 game against the Blues.

The review concluded that Vaa'i's actions constituted leaving the ground to avoid a tackle, rather than simply diving forward to score a try, and that as a result the try should not have been awarded.

I think the May example is the outer edge of the grey area, largely because it's a covering tackle coming in from the side - OP's example clearly jumps over a line of defenders. May's not strictly jumping over anyone, but it's on the border of diving to score/"jumping out of a tackle".

Not that it's completely consistent now: Hollie Davidson (correctly, IMO) penalised Dan Sheehan for trying to do the same in IRE-ITA this weekend. But Sheehan must be feeling hard done by, as it was allowed in the Lions tour.
