    [Law] Re: Neverending rugby?

And theses days most sides ( at the semi and pro levels) have a kicker who is more than comfortable kicking that sort of distance.

    Scenario 1
Team A 21 Team B 12 Team B score with 81 on the clock. Clear and Obvious Foul play after the score by team A. B convert Score 21-19. restart with the PK. Why not? a converted penalty...
  4. Re: Match Official Developer App - your input please

Superb detail and matches my impressions.

Incidentally, I also have the ref watch and find that very good in trial situations. Can't wait for the chance to use it "in the middle of the park"
  5. Re: Match Official Developer App - your input please

I find the MOD app really intuitive.
  6. Re: Match Official Developer App - your input please

I took a look at that one on Android. Seems messy to me.

  9. Re: Match Official Developer App - your input please

I've got bot the MOD app and the ref watch app I've also been trialling them watching videos of some 6N games. It's a tidy piece of work.

You mean like an international with over 52 weeks worth of bans that gets reductions based on his "good record". Could never happen. Of course you are right.

Of course you chose to ignore that the...

A well paid "journeyman" enforcer. Paid to take a red for the team here and there. Not a bad earner. Back in the day every team had an enforcer. Getting paid for it as well. Plead guilty take nice...

    Re: France v Scotland

Notice the wording on a PT A PT is obviously in a "better position" than most tries but the law does not allow for that it is SPECIFIC. IF WR wanted it different it would say something like " Where...

What was the reason given for the PT? Was there a TMO review? Did you see the actual game footage rather than these short highlights? Only the TV captions show it wa given a PT. If it was given...

    Re: France v Scotland

Equity does not mean total disregard for the law. The law is written for a reason. Whether it might have been a "better outcome" is not relevant. The law does not allow it.

    Re: France v Scotland

THe option was a yellow card. An option WB should have taken, in my opinion.

Please read the PT law and then try to justify the awarding of a PT on the basis of law.

    You've made two claim in...

No. A forearm to the throat is illegal and a red card every day of the week.

    When will players learn?

Not connected, you are missing the point completely. THat comment was about who makes mistakes nothing to do with referees speaking out. That should have been very obvious.
