    Re: Springboks v Lions

Players wanting to dispute the team of officials decisions is not a good enough reason to not use a different TMO protocol

    [Law] Re: Scrum question

A player dives and reaches out for the goal-line (fully extended) is short, in the process is tackled, are they entitled to another reach?

    [In-goal] Re: Reaching Out

    General question.

Rees-Zammit non-try from Wednesday made me think about it. At first it sounded like Peyper was saying the 2nd reach was worthy of a PK, then said something like RZ was short...

    Re: Global Law Trials

Interesting question posed in another forum:

Does the 50/22 law apply to kickoffs/restart kicks that go indirectly into touch inside the 22?

    Re: Global Law Trials

I don't think in practice you'd call a maul immediately, you'd let a dynamic situation breath for a few seconds to see if it could be a tackle.

I think the latched player is entitled to the space...

    Re: Global Law Trials

So it is still an attacking 5m scrum; if the defending team carry or pass the ball into in-goal and make it dead or its held up, or a knock-on into the in-goal, or brought in by the attackers and...

Would you consider it foul play if, after grasping ball the carrier, the tackler wrapped their legs around their opponent or extended their leg to finish the tackle?
