[SUGGESTION] Re: Re organisation idea ..

If we had a 'like' button, I'd use it.

Re: Where are you this weekend - 2021/22?

This weekend I shall mainly be in Townsville, watching NZ take on RSA and Aus play Argentina.

Tickets for the whole day, organized by my incredibly smart wife for my birthday.
  4. Re: 2 incidents - Wallabies v Springboks 18/9/21

This smacks to me of an evolving philosophy about how foul play and players are treated. The use of the word intent, and the desire to exculpate players - which strikes me as a deliberate stance -...
  5. Re: 2 incidents - Wallabies v Springboks 18/9/21

My take was TMO talking him up to a red card, then suddenly realizing that was a bit harsh and trying to walk him back from the ledge that he put him on.
Pearce would have handled that differently.

Christ. At least around here they give us Great Northern...
  7. Re: 2 incidents - Wallabies v Springboks 18/9/21

I was yelling at the tv for the second incident and just couldn't understand their rationale.

The unkind bit of my persona wondered if there was hangover from the Swinton yellow; I felt that was...

Re: Bledisloe 3 - the sacrifice of the...

    1. Coming from the man whop rejected the opinion of other international experts in the area who weren't being paid by the ABs, that's a bit ****ing rich.
2.You seem to have missed my point....

    Re: Rugby 12s

If the players sign up for it, I don't want to hear any moaning about being overplayed.

This may be tricky to get off the ground with players who are centrally contracted,

Re: AUS vs SA - Kolisi Card

Yeah, I had that as orange in my head and I wouldn't have faulted either decision.

Re: Bledisloe 3 - the sacrifice of the...

I think we may be at risk of concentrating on the wrong issues.

Barrett got himself up there. He has an obligation to look after himself in a way that doesn't endanger other players. He signally...

Re: Luke Pearce = Very impressive

Highly impressive last night, as he usually is.

He has mastered the art of letting the captains know that they have been heard without allowing it to become a bitchfest or interfere with the...

**** me. I can understand lack of intent, but to argue it wasn't reckless strikes me as...well, let's say odd. I don't want to inadvertently libel anyone.

Re: Bledisloe 3 - the sacrifice of the...

Oh, I watched that whole debacle live, and Ian's right. Australia were so bad the local U12 blind school could have beaten them. NZ actually improved the points difference when down to 14.

    The sad...

[Line out] Re: Asking for Numbers

TBH, in my head it isn't a 'spirit of the game' question.
If that happened live, I wouldn't count for 7, in the same way that of they call "5" I don't check the throwing team. I just count the...

Re: Bledisloe 3 - the sacrifice of the...

Perhaps OB can help me out here, because I disagree with Ian and his stance on rotation.

If I lean slightly backwards, and bring my legs up towards me, does that not increase my likelihood of...

Bledisloe 3 - the sacrifice of the...

Two incidents for me. One blindingly obvious, the other confusing.

Jordie Barrett (who, with his brother, account for 33% of AB red cards) sent off for doing a Hastings. Went up to collect a high...

Re: Where are you this weekend - 2021/22?

    That's a great question.

On balance, no. I think the only reason they close the points they did in the previous games was because NZ took their foot off the pedal, and Australia just decided to go...

Re: Where are you this weekend - 2021/22?

Our season doesn't start until October. So I shall be mainly on the sofa watching NRL. There will be an over/under on the number of times that Latrell Mitchell's hit gets mentioned
