[Line out] Re: Offside at LO - change in law?

[Line out] Re: Offside at LO - change in law?

It refers to long throws -- the full wording is
Once the ball has been thrown in by a team-mate, players who are not participating in the lineout may move forward. If that occurs, then their...
  7. Re: Thank God! At last Nigel Owens enforces (Caterpillar) Law - Use it

What the Law actually says is

.When the ball has been clearly won by a team at the ruck, and is available to be played, the referee calls “use it”, after which the ball must be played away from...
  8. Re: Thank God! At last Nigel Owens enforces (Caterpillar) Law - Use it

plus if everyone was on their feet, a counter ruck would be possible, and the ball wouldn't be safe at the back of a ruck -- you'd want to use it quicklyl

[Law] Re: Why isn't this pre binding penalised ?

perhaps that is a richer seam to mine - pk under 14.8 ?
    Other players must:

Remain on their feet when they play the...

[Law] Re: Why isn't this pre binding penalised ?

what is the relevant Law you are using ?

The only one seems to be 9.22 Teams must not use the ‘cavalry charge’ or ‘flying wedge’.

The general convention seems to be this Law is only used at...
