[Law] Re: All blacks third try tackled or not?

    [Law] Re: substituicion

The original question used the word substitution - this means replacing an injured player. Unless 3.34 is in force such a player may not re-enter play - 3.21

    However, if they were tactically...

[Line out] Re: Offside at LO - change in law?

    Law 18.35 says:

My emphasis - but I beleive any other player includes the opposition.
  4. Re: Thank God! At last Nigel Owens enforces (Caterpillar) Law - Use it

Come on he has only got a my bloody efforts. He needs to get an other buggers efforts before he gets offered a call me god, let alone a kindly call me god or god calls me god.

  7. [CLUB RUGBY] Re: Structure and Responsibikity for Referees Appointments and pathway

What Balones said. Level 5 even, when branded as National 3, has always been the top level of Divisional Rugby and has not come under the NCA. Of course, it could all change in the 2021/2 season as...

Re: How Long will He Likely be Banned for?

The panel cannot take into account the cards he should have got, only the cards he has been issued.
Therefore they have to treat him as of good character.

    Referees can however,collectively...

Gopperth seems to go quite well. Solid 10 who kicks his goals.

Re: How Long will He Likely be Banned for?

That was his first red card.
He has had 8 yellow cards in 297 games over 12 seasons, I am not sure how many of those were for foul play.
So yes he is of previous good character.

Re: STE to hook, Wasps Bath

A lot of teams use all their bench but not all their interchanes.
Five on the side lines but 10 interchanges.

    [Maul] Re: Isn't this obstruction?

No that is good rolling maul technique and has been permitted since the dawn of time. The Wasp defence needed to work harder to stay square and not be twisted out of the way.

Re: STE to hook, Wasps Bath

I assume the chart is for teams with five players on the bench so expected to have five players capable of playing front row.
If you start the game without a full front row or cannot make one front...

[In-goal] Re: Try: Yes or No? Or?

Listening to the comentary, No admits he has had no idea - the AR tells him he thinks it is a try but needs to be checked, so NO tells the TMO 'our decision is a try'. Which I think is good use of...

    Re: Knock on ?

If a player drops the ball in the act of scoring it is inevitably given as a knock on.
Hobody tires to do complex trig to say that it actually went half a millimetre backwards.
