    Re: vitual crowd noise

I didn't even turn the programme on! But it is not the point is it. Football did the same thing and was heavily critisized for it. It just feel the rugby is what should sell rugby not the added...

    Re: vitual crowd noise

Why? What is the point? Unless the rugby is not exciting on its own.
  4. [Line out] Re: Hooker with both feet in the field of play?

    Your point

is simply wrong. It is not technically illegal. Kicking should be seen for what it is a legal action without the rediculous add-ons you are putting on it.

    Back to the thread....
  5. [Line out] Re: Hooker with both feet in the field of play?

Clearly the two are different. THe law allows (if fact, on occasion demands) you to kick the ball. Clearly the law would not demand something illegal. So please stop muddying the water with this...
  6. [Line out] Re: Hooker with both feet in the field of play?

Can we not (legaly) kick this spurios nonsense into touch?

Kicking the ball is part of the Laws. Both kicking from hand and drop kicking the ball are both 100% legal and in now way, technical or...

    Re: Exeter Racing .. Slade

The goal line is the offside line so that is fine However, I have an issue that he is saying it was never a ruck only a tackle. I normaly see him treat those as rucks. ALso part of one fot is in play...

[Law] Re: All blacks third try tackled or not?

The material effect of releasing the ball and having to get up and then play the ball again. The tackler is there and other player ON THEIR FEET are close enough to beat him to the ball.

    Clearly...

    Re: Exeter Racing .. Slade

Agree about the clock. Also Nige asked for the time when the ball passed through the post. With a conversion it is the time when the ball is kicked Law 5.8.C Is it not the same with a PK at goal? In...

    Re: Exeter Racing .. Slade

    Video?

Any thoughts on the crucial goal line penalty? Ref calls hands away and then player goes in at the side with his hands and "wins" the penalty.

    Nige right or wrong?

    What about the...

[In-goal] Re: Peter O'Mahony Yellow Card

Yes they have badly, in terms of the laws, worded it. BUT, they used common sense in the wording as the common man would understand it.

[In-goal] Re: Peter O'Mahony Yellow Card

Surely you judge the offences themselves and when both are for dropping the shoulder to drive into people in a "ruck / pile up" situation, wit hcheap shots, it needs to be driven out of the game.
