but none of those are defined in the good book
I take your point about players needing to make their own decisions but it is tricky knowing when the maul crosses the LoT from 10 metres back and it is sound preventive (preventative?) refereeing to...
what did the AR say? Oh sorry, forgot you're not allowed to have ARs :(
we used to have system for juniors whereby if the team provided a qualified AR for the game, then they received an extra competition point. Worked very well. And also a good source of future refs
not an issue here. If someone has done the AR course, then they are fully deputized ARs with no need to be appointed
worst one I've seen recently is where AR calls over comms that defenders are offside. Ref immediately blows whistle ... just as attacking team are about to score the try. Difficult to come back from...
count yourselves lucky it wasn't a FK :)
they forgot these ones:

Agree. The first was a pre-meditated "bringing the game into disrepute" offence. The second was a crime passionnel
the last one is interesting. The Red jumper makes contact with the ball adjacent to the 'L' in Standard Life. The next contact is by Red #16 adjacent to the 'd'. As 'd' is closer to Red goal line...
seems like a total ball's up to me and a load of bollocks!
90% ball retention at the breakdown I think is a good target. Less than that, team in possession will be encouraged to kick; more than that, team not is possession less likely to commit to breakdown...
the tried & proven Squirrel Grip Strategy has been known to stop a rolling maul in it's tracks :bday:
Spoke to a mate in Leeds. Apparently Doncaster is considered as north London by real Yorkies :)
I'm guessing he did a Sonny Bill and knocked ball dead. Yellow card too?
How will you manage the unlimited water breaks? Will you make your own assessment on need or wait for captatin/s to request? Will you allow a water break if there is a try imminent (eg 5 metre free...
this is formally forbidden here for junior rugby
we don't do that here. If a tackler takes the ball carrier through the horizontal then it is a minimum PK irrespective of how safely the ball carrier lands. It's about managing out poor technique,...
Law 16: The Maul is suspended in its entirety
When one or more players come into contact with an opposing ball carrier and do not bring that player to ground, those players may attempt to gain...
that's a joke, right?
our new law trials here are actively designed to encourage kicking:

these were the law changes we saw here last season. I have seen no post-season analysis on their effectiveness
its what the locals call this big piece of dirt:

what is the condition of the grounds?
common sense would tell me once the vaccines are rolled out
