Re: Wal v Aus: Coach Verbally Attacks Officials

I like the fact you can head the ball. Union Laws are full of little quirks and this is one of them.
Not often NO is so clearly wrong..
I've seen many full face charge downs over the years and I'm...

  6. [7's/10's] Re: What is the definition of the playing a ball in the scrum?

Just my thought process that if the no8 is not bound, the ball is out therefore he could be tackled as initially my thought process was dragging the ball back with your hand means you are in...
  7. [7's/10's] Re: What is the definition of the playing a ball in the scrum?

I had a good debate with an experienced No.8 a few weeks ago in a lower level game.
His scrum was going backwards so was regularly trying to pick up and complained that the scrum half can't tackle...

Re: England vs Australia - Last Try

There was no ruck or tackle offside lines created therefore open play, so you can run where you want.

    [Tackle] Re: Game Management (?)

I had 3 yellows for persistent high tackles for the same team on Saturday after issuing a warning.
They were all lazy seat belt type tackles with no force or danger but poor technique, no...

    Re: Colours?

Whilst it makes sense for the home team to change, I think in England for league matches the competition rules say the away team must change which actually contradicts and age old tradition of home...

[Law] Re: Incorrectly taken free kick

This is a regular occurrence up here in RL land.
Many cross code players simply do not know the laws.
I ref at L 7. First time it happens, I never award a scrum but order a retake allowing the...

  17. [Maul] Re: When is a flying wedge a maul...a maul a flying wedge....or....?

We were talking about a maul that had formed and the opposition had fallen away/disengaged so it is still a maul.
  18. [Maul] Re: When is a flying wedge a maul...a maul a flying wedge....or....?

Easy yellow card for the tackler, Dangerous play pulling the maul down.
