well, there shoudnt be one unless it is all but instantaneous. thats my point. Once the PT offense has occurred that is it. Not waiting to see what happens afterwards which may or may not end up...

Nah. by the time green gets to 4 and 5 the ball is WAY aways, well past the end of the wall.

Its no different than a cut out pass in front of 12 rto 13 that attracts a defender onto 12 anyway....

Id imagine its because a kick for a lineout provides your own throw.

I saw the RL game before the Swinton one with Gavin Henson, aged 39, making his RL debut with West Wales Raiders (or somesuch) v Wigan.
