Why should fully able bodied athletes not be able to use special running shoes that have a version of the spring loaded prosthetics he uses built in?

I found it supremely ironic that Pistorius felt somebody else's blades in the Paralympics gave him an unfair advantage.

He had increased their length but they were agreed to be within the rules. Pistorius could have increased his as well, but had kept them at the shorter length because one of the conditions for him competing in the Olympics was that he did not change his blades from the ones that had been tested. Getting new ones for the Paralympics would not have been a good idea.

Where's "there"? - Front Row, I think we are fairly united on that not being a good idea - and depending on which arm he may have difficulty at lock or flanker - depending on which side he tries to play. But elsewhere, - probably OK.

Why can he/she not play as Hooker - being bound in by own Props? 20.3a doesn't state binding has to be by both arms.

I would need convicing that the scrum was actually stable when only one arm of the hooker could grip the prop.

Hookers do tend to be the ones that squeeze the FR together and hold it as a tight unit.

As I said - I don't the idea, but like Simon T, I think these days Safety is even more significant than ever.
