I miss my games, all is forgiven!
Does Amazon let you hear exactly what happens in and around the games?
Wouldn't it be great if you could just hear the sounds from the players, the few in the ground and the ref like you do on a normal Saturday.
Sadly, the PC brigade would never allow it even if you apologised before the games were broadcast.
Ciaran Trainor
Exactly.
At the end of the 6 Nations, Eng v ??, I discovered the 'ref mike' option on BBC on-line feed. I thought that it was just going to be audio, as I don't have a TV licence, but no, full picture, no commentary and no automated questions asked about owning a TV licence. Best viewing experience!
Be reasonable - do it my way.
Sky used to have ref mike on the red button but don’t pay for it any more so not sure if it’s the norm, iPlayer have just introduced this as Crossref mentioned, and Amazon Prime make a specific point of signposting it in their games. I think BT Sport possibly introduced fake crowd noise so won’t turn it off, and ITV hub still stream in SD so grateful to get anything usable at all!
