    Default Legal Studs ?

This pic was doing the rounds yesterday after the Argentina Australia game.

I understand the limit is 21mm long with 10mm diameter at tip.
Would love to know if these conform.

Holy moly - are these legal. Like the top jaw of an alligator

I'm generally laissez faire about the size of studs, just ensure that they are not sharp or rough. But those I do not like (assuming an undoctored image).
Be reasonable - do it my way.

Is it not the responsibility of the player to ensure his studs are legal? The referee just checks they are not sharp to dangerous?

Crossref, yes not acceptable in any game I refereed. BUT I never refereed any game that was on TV or was for anyone other than the 30 (most of the time, less in some), players.

I was really surprised that he came out from halftime with that jersey still on. Do they not have replacement jerseys for international player? Not a great advertisement for the jersey manufacturer.
