Who do we feel most sorry for ?

the last one is interesting. The Red jumper makes contact with the ball adjacent to the 'L' in Standard Life. The next contact is by Red #16 adjacent to the 'd'. As 'd' is closer to Red goal line than 'L', how could he be offside?

I have previously disputed #3 on this site. Traille was being tackled as he passed the ball and was falling forward. I produced a still that shows his outstretched hand is in front of the ball just after release - therefore it was not a forward pass, but a classic case of a misleading appearances.

I don't see anything clear and obvious. In such circumstances isn't is correct to stick with the on field decision?

It may not have been a try, it may have been a try. But given the question asked by the referee I'd say the TMO decision was wrong.

If the question had been asked "Try or No Try" I could see a no try result as it is unclear - but even here you'd probably err towards the attacking team.

Id like to suggest for consideration the decision made by our ref at Ivel Barbariabns II v Devizes II on one occassion.

Whereby our lineout throw in was prevented going 5m by the IB second row at the front of the linout and IB were awarded a 15m scrum as we had not made the ball travel 5m at our lineout.
